Since Chuseok is a traditional holiday that has been celebrated long before the division of Korea, people in North Korea also celebrate Chuseok. It’s also known as Hangawi (the name, “Chuseok”, is derived from Chinese characters whereas Hangawi is more native. However, Hangawi is used mostly on media advertisements).
